Review – Annual Mid-Year General Managers Meeting 📍@bilderbergdekeizerskroon

After a successful meeting in Frankfurt, the annual Mid-Year General Managers Meeting took place from 23rd – 24th of May at the newly renovated Bilderberg Hotel De Keizerskroon. ✨
Beside the GM´s of... each hotel, also the different departments of the Event Hotels Headquarters participated (HR, Commercial, IT, Finance, Sustainability).
General Manager Frans van de Laak and his whole team did an excellent job, hosting the event with great attitude, delicious food and excellent service.
After the opening by Anders Braks, Rainer Banger and Maurice Jansen, there was a varied program this year which was very well suited to the current reality, the challenges we (will) face as well as the many opportunities our beautiful profession offers and will continue to offer in the future.
While the meeting in Frankfurt was focused on external speakers, this year’s GM meeting exclusively featured Event Hotels internal speakers from the various departments.
The aim was to inform about current trends, to present new technologies and to give an update about ongoing processes to all participants.
In addition, participants were able to actively engage in various workshops covering the topics of HR & Recruiting, Customer Journey Optimization, and Facts, Figures and Sales.
The results of the workshops are currently being evaluated and implemented in actions and follow-up measures. 📈

This week the beautiful and newly renovated Hotel Bilderberg de Keizerskroon in Apeldoorn opened its doors for the Annual Mid-Year Hotel General Managers Meeting.
The agenda included the revenue and... e-commerce workshop with a focus on numbers, data, facts as well as the optimization of the customer journey and in-house guest experience.
In the creative revenue workshop, the participating hotel managers were not able to win millions à la "Who wants to be a millionaire", but were allowed to play for the title of top hotel manager and answer questions about the world of revenue management. 🏆
Afterwards, in the e-commerce workshop, teams compiled a wide variety of ideas and best practices for optimizing the customer journey and derived possible opportunities and actions from them.
Event Hotels looks back on successful workshops, constructive conversations and says thank you for the active participation. 🙏🏼
